Hey guys i just recently bought a brand new battery for the winter. After installation its taking about double to triple to time to turn over. Does this have to do with higher CCR than my old battery??

Higher CCA will make it crank faster. You need to check your connections.

Make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. And no, the higher CCR shouldn't hurt it.

every time i disconnect my battery, it resets the pcm, and it will crank over longer then usual. after a few starts, its back to normal. the trans may feel like its shifting differently as well as the trans relearns how you drive.

so if it does it again after you clean the terminals, let it go for a day or 2, it should clear up on its own, and be back to the 1/2 of a turn and start, like it was.

Hey guys, two days later the car starts up flawlessly. Still wondering what that little wire is there for.
