    04 gtp im throwing my belts back on .... On my fresh rebuild question where is the icm as i here you un plug that to prime and second is how do you know when its ready to be fired up. Thanks

    just remove the fuel pump fuse, no fuel, no fire.

    ICM is under the coil packs. On the front facing the radiator is a 7mm holding the connector on it. I disconnect that.

    I crank a while... let off...crank..let off... repeat a bunch of times. Supposedly it's quick to prime. you could use a gauge to tell for sure..I never do and then... reconnect and fire it up.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Your better off taking the fuel pump fuse out if you don't you'll wash out your cylinders

    How so, fuel injectors only fire once at key on. If he takes and turns the key on, cranks..lets it fall back to on, cranks etc..the injectors never fire after that first time.

    Or...you could have the postive battery cable touching the solenoid post as well and when you try to hook up the neg battery cable..it'll crank for you.

    Holler once that's fixed and you fire it up.
