    I recently bought a 98 GP and a few weeks after owning the car the ABS light came on and now wont go off. Any suggenstions on how to fix this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I recently bought a 98 GP and have noticed that by pushing the TCS button it wont turn on. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    one of ya wheel hubs.. i seen ya other post about abs.. both are same problem.. check ya hub wiring..

    You mean off? By default the TCS is on.

    And ya, check the hubs

    Check the wheel hubs, tend to be the main cause.

    i have a hunch that the front passenger hub wires are either loose, dirty connections or ripped out of the plug...I have the same issue but I'm not worried ima buy a hub soon lol

    FYI to the OP, your ABS will not be working with that light on, so if you get into a situation that requires you to stomp the brakes you WILL lock them up. At least on my 00 GT that's what it does, lol..
