180* would be the best 160* needs retuning and being from WI it would be way to cold of a stat.

    Ummm, yeah.

I like how have the crap I post or other people post gets completely washed down the drain. I cant even recall the amount of times I've said to never run a 160º thermo, and I bet I've said it in one of your thread already.

That's pretty much the same thing as a supercharged v6 with a 3.6" pulley, right?
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Correct me if i am wrong it might be pretty well the same but the v8 and the turbo generate alot more heat

i'd like to go out of my way to thank mech dude for doing something that i would love to see everyone do in a thread that asks a question we hear once a week.

that is a legit answer and when people search it will lead them to a million other threads and will help considerably when people DO search.

    thank you.

I would run a 180, just to remove a little more heat for when you're inevitably flogging it. Also... ditch the 104s and run 605s. There's no reason for a plug that cold. Typically 1 heat range lower is okay for setups that are making 75-100hp over stock.
