do you have those metal sleeves around the spark plug wire boot? if so, take them off. they do more harm than good in some cases.

Some NGK plugs have screw on pieces where the plug wire makes contact. If you have screw job NGK's consider changing them. This was a pain to find when it happened to me.

    What brand plug wires?

If all else fails, I've seen a bad ICM not fire one plug. Ensure that both coil towers are throwing spark. That would indicate a possible bad ICM if everything else is good.

Lastly.. have any plugs ever come out of the cylinder with any damage? .
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

well the plugs i got were autolites, wires were from autozone lifetime warranty and the metal sleeves are off, and the number 3 cyclinder one had no end like the small metal thing on the end was off but i wasnt sure it was like seeing i dropped it befor i could inspect it, and theres spark coming from the coil both sides, i took the plug out again after running it for a while and it seems good no damage

Oh dear. That part is important.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

autozone wires are prolly ur problem. also if they are new try rerouting them. i mean from the coils then under the dogbone (not through the bone) and then to the cylinders. appparently the route of the stock wires were horrible lemme know if that works

Swap the #1 and #3 injector on the fuel rail and see if the problem follows the injector to cylinder #1.

To add, I use autozone wires on TONS of 3800's.

They are great wires, 30 bucks...lifetime warranty.

That guy prolly needed the installer mod.

^^^fuel injector could be an issue if its slightly clogged. i would just dump some techron fuel injector cleaner in there and maybe change the fuel filter if you havent recently. see if it helps. are you getting a check engine light?

swap the icm I just did one of these a week ago when it went out on the 98 GT my brother in law got and we threw a trans in it total cost for the car 950ish dollars and its in better shape than mine.

Seems more like icm problem to me than an injector esp if it drives fine around town otherwise just crappy idle, Id think the idle sounds like spark problem.

IIRC oreillys and most other stores should be able to check an ignition control module
