Sooo after header install i get a real stong vibration whenever i am in reverse any thoughts? Can be felt all throughout car. Its definately different than the just louder exhaust because of header with no cat.
I just wish the police loved my car as much as i do 3.5,160 Stat,HAI,ZZP F/R STB, SSAC Headers, Reptile PCM

maybe it's hitting the sway bar when the engine shifts in reverse? put the ebrake on and put it in gear and just get under there and take a look see if you can see it. check the mounts out if that's the case.

Its probably the o2 sensor vibrating against the firewall/tunnel.

well the engine shifts one way or the other depending if its in R or D. so in one gear it may push up one part of the dp one way or another to make the o2 hit the firewall or the dp to hit the flex. my bet is one of those two just gotta get under the car and find it.

my suggestion. ngk o2 sensor is shorter according to Matt. so might could try that. and you could also try new lower mounts if you haven't done those and you can try flipping your dogbones if you haven't already to hold things still.

well how are the lower mounts, both engine and tranny??

like i said just get under the car and see where its rubbing, most common 2 spots are o2 sensor and sway bar. if its the sway bar my guess is either your lower mounts or you're gonna have to flip it. if the o2 sensor, get a shorter one or beat the firewall in (or if you really wanna go big, move the o2 sensor bung hole to the crossover)

mine does the same, because the o2 smacks the firewall/tunnel.

You can get under there with a big ass hammer and beat the **** out of that area if you want to, or take a air hammer and beat the **** of it and make more room.

Or just leave it the way it is, thats what I did.

Yea tried to beat the **** out of it with the headers installed(Because no way i was loosening anything after all the struggle i went through getting it in). I could only make tiny dents because i couldnt get full power blows. Wish i had an air hammer. I then took the dogbones out and the O2 screwed in sweet as pie and i just put it back so maybe that is it.
