04 Grand Prix GTP blower motor burnt up. Troubleshooting found that the blower motor resistor was not getting any power at all. Found the large red wire to be dead. Checked fuses all ok. Checked wiring all ok. Anybody had this problem?

On My 04 GTP CompG. The resistor fried and the fan would be on high speed blowing even with the car off and the key out of ignition and climate control off. The local repair shop had to order the Resistor from the dealer. They replaced it. Everything worked well for a week and a half. The resistor fried again. They replaced it under warranty. It has been fine ever since. I'm assuming it's just the resistor that's messed up on yours? Just replace the resistor. I'm not sure on the part number. Hope this helps.
