    i purchased 880 hid with the heavy duty wire harnees from the w-body store had them in for 2 days and they melted anyone have this problem and what would cause this because they should run cooler than oem lights

    ebay, find some glass fog light housings.

    Probably because you have the crappy factory plastic fogs.
