We just swapped out engines in a 2003 GTP. Now we are trying to start the car again, and all we are doing is frying the "low reference" (its red with black stripe, comes out of the CPU in the airbox) wire that runs into the ICM. does anybody have any suggestions?

also, does anybody know where the 4 wires on the starter go? i have a feeling that is part of our problem.

And another thing, What is the firing order and how is it in reference to the coil packs. The book and through out the internet, and autozone, all show different firing orders.

it was just the block, heads that were swapped. all the sensors, and supercharger and exhaust manifolds were reused. i cant figure out the melting wire problem. maybe the wires on the starter are wrong. any advise for that?

Don't know much about wiring...maybe a bad ground somewhere is causing it?

i checked both grounds, and both of them are tight. there is one on the tranny to engine bolts (9'oclock position) and then there is one down on the bottom of the block behind the AC compressor. both of them are tight, but i dont know, i do have full coverage................lol
