The only reason I can think of is to make it easier to reach stuff, other than that I've racked my brain trying to figure out what it could be.

it makes it about 50x easier to get to anything on the rear of the motor if it is tilted forward farther.

it helps a ton if you have a ratcheting strap and youre doing headers.
