    ok so i have a 1997 grand prix gtp basic no mods just my go to work car recently the temp gauge has been fluctuating going from just under 210 back to the quarter mark had the coolant flushed and bled the bubbles out with the cap off method but still running hotter then normal have the ses light on but i havent gotten a chance to pull the codes yet any help in a next step other then the obvious pulling codes would be helpful and much appreciated thanks

    Blocked Catalytic Converter? Bad spark plugs?
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

    got the code pulled today came out with p0102 MAP man absolute pressure MAF mass air flow and VAF vane air flow any chance any one has had a similar issue and changed any of these to fix it

    Many of us have replaced a MAF sensor and MAP sensor. Cant say i've heard of the vane airflow sensor.
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

    so i pulled the clip on the MAF and let it run didnt shoot in temp the fans still continue to turn on but didnt get as hot plugged it back in and it started ideling rougher and just didnt sound good so i would assume this is the issue and replacing is the next step

    Yes if you unplugged the MAF and nothing happened then thats probably your issue. You'll want to get a new MAF.
