Is this possible? I found myself recently in a friendly debate with a guy that says his GTP can put up these numbers. I don't know about anyone else' GTP, but I know I needed a cam, pulley, ported blower, tune, headers and great launch to put up that same time and trap speed.

He says he's from Michigan where the fastest GTP's in the world are... Well damnit I'm from Michigan too, and I won't lie, I feel a little insulted. I posted a fly-by video on Youtube and a guy commented about his gtp.

He says it is on a stock pulley, with header wraps, meth, egr delete, exhaust, and he revs it to 6400 RPM??? He implied that he has a stock cam because he is planning to install an XP. This sounds like madness to me, but before I jump into a full blown argument with the fellow, I want to make sure I'm not just crazy.

    Here is the link

I'm thinking the same as you guys. Maybe if somebody has a Youtube account, I can get some back up here. I think this is gonna turn into one of them big dumb youtube arguments we see on every car video.

You can bet your A$$ if there was a way for me to run low 13's without investing in a cam, and a ton of supporting mods, I would have taken that route.

    VS cam build 13.01@107 316whp/ XP build #1 12.78@110 334whp/ XP build #2 12.56@113 347whp

The guy says "im at about low 13s @104". Need to get a more exact time from him instead of im at about would help prove or disprove him. With his mods, I don't think it would be all that much impossible. At least he's not claiming 12's. Guy I bought my GTP from was running meth or alcohol (might be same thing as I haven't looked into it that much, I know he was getting the liquid for it from the South), SLP headers, exhaust, custom tune (which is where he said he got most his power from), and got a 13.3. He also had a higher shift RPM like this guy did. This was before putting roller rockers and a 3.25 pulley on. If 248Samson didn't mention the Meth, I'd say it's complete BS, but I'm on the borderline of it being fact or fiction. I know you can pull alot more timing with the meth.
