Well....finally some resolution to this thread, i have finally fixed my dic.

I had a couple days off so i decided to tear the dash out of my car and start chasing wires and checking fuse panels incase a wire fell out or broke...anyways this is dash out (day 1)...

so i chased each wire into each harness inside the cabin, checked where they plugged into the fuse panel and all was good, tight and no breaks in wires.i even started a thread to find out how many live wires should run to a working DIC but got no replies....i figured if someone had 5 live wires to a working dic then i would concentrate on a certain wire but there only supposed to b 4 live wires to the dic (which i had). so i took the dic apart while still plugged into the car so the bulbs were exposed...now i had my test light grounded to the frame of the car and started touching the circuits inside the dic with the test light (i was just frustrated and bored at this point which is why i started poking at the dic with the test light).

BAM...all of a sudden i touched a point on the circuit board and the dic lit up but didn't display any numbers....so i brought the dic inside my house and tore it apart...to find this...

a resistor or some thing of the sort on the corner of the dic burned up causing the DIC not to work.....So a long story ; short .... my DIC was defective , i assumed it was fine and the problem was wiring

Day 2 - Ran to the junkyard today, got one and it now works...installed my dash and everything now works....sucks that i took the entire dash out but gave me a chance to install the HUD, that the car didn't have for some odd reason.
