From hindsight, I wish I would have taken my dash out to do the HUD install. Trying to make the cuts and not hit the windshield was a major PITA. Don't even get me started on the mess.Originally Posted by Tea Time

I assumed everyone changed dashes too when installing hud but when i had both dashes side by side, the without dash just needed to be cut and everything else was there to install hud, so i wondered if guys left the dash in to cut it or took it out. (i didn't read anything about the hud install before i started, just went with it}

well god damn.... HUD hasn't been used 3 hours and it started dimming...fvck sakes....always something.
so i'm gonna utilize the search option to finding the how to for a dimming HUD...unless someone wanted to be so kind and post it for me here
