    Multimeters run for around $15.

Or, you can take it to your local car part shop and tell them what's up and they will most likely test it for you with one they have to see if you need a motor in which they will be pleased to sell you. :P

I know Advanced Auto Parts always does minor stuff like this for customers.

You don't need a meter. Pull out a 194 from your turn signal, pull the tabs straight. Stick one wire into the ground and another into the power. Does the bulb light up?

Yeah..I got an answer or redneck solition for everyting. Keep that bulb handy...we'll check your injectors next!

Like stated above multimeters run around $15 but have seen some for $7. You will always want to have one cause they are a nice to have around.

So Auto Zone or Advance Auto would not test it. Sadly, I'm not rich, and I just don't have said money for a meter, not even $7 dollars.. I will call a friend and see if he has one, I think he might... Some random guy at auto zone said it sounded like the motor went bad... So who knows.. If my friend does not have one, I'll give the redneck method a try.. More than likely watch my car and me go:

Well if he does have a multimeter you can also test the motor to see if it is the motor itself. Multimeter would be your best bet IMO if you can get your hands on one.

I fussed with it for awhile, but gave up and went on to what I had to do. Thought it might fix when I turn the car back on next time, well no luck with that.

Its supposed to rain for this whole week.... Does anyone know is wrong with them??? Possibly blown fuse??? The signals still work, and the wiper fluid still sprays and the brights work still, so I doubt its the lever...
Mine does the same, and has done so since I got it (about a year ago). The wipers will randomly turn on when they get ignition power, then go right back to park. This only happens once in a while, so it isn't that big of a deal. Recently though, I've had the wipers on intermittent, and they will suddenly stop working. I can shut them off and they will park, or turn them on to hi, then back to intermittent and they will be fine. The other day, I lost all but hi, and as soon as I switched off of hi, the wipers stopped where they were. After some wiggling of the signal lever, they worked fine again.

I am pretty sure my problem is the MFS (multi-function switch). Had similar problems with other vehicles and the MFS' wear out internally, usually the contacts.

Being that the MFS is pricey, and I have other more important things to repair, I will keep pushing my luck and hope that they don't fail me for the next few months.

the light bulb is a simple test light. and free.

Just saying... when all hell breaks loose, you use what you have handy because the majority of your tools are at home.

One bulb, a couple pieces of wire and you have a perfectly fine tool that guys have used for years.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
