    why do performance engines have to run on premium, why cant it run on regular and go fast? lame.........

    they can, but that parts comes down to the tune. But you want to run higher grade gas to reduce kr/ping and have a lower flash point, and low/high compression comes into place aswell.

    holy shiz only 16mpg? Does that sounds really low to anyone else? my v8 caddi ran with a misfire on 6 and still got 18?

    That isn't low. On KBB a stock 99 GTP is actually off the lot 16 MPG 22 MPG hwy. So I'm spot on.

    Of course the MPG ratings are user-based.

    For my information, why do you have to take the headers out to install the cam? i thought you only had to take the LIM off.

    you have to take the lifters out, which requires removing the heads, which requires taking the headers off.
    99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold

    you need to remove the lim,to remove the lifters, and the valve covers to remove the rockers and push rods, and of course the front of the engine.

    i shoulda known that one lol. for whatever reason it didn't occur to me that you could pull the rockers off to get the pushrods out. facepalm
