Hey guys I hope you can help me out.
I have a 98, 38 GTP and a water pump almost pulled out except for two bolts.
One is behind the power steering pump and I understand that you drop both bolts through the holes in the pulley and just move it over. I also understand that it is hard to get back on the threads.
The other bolt is located under the idler pulley on the right side facing the engine. I can not get to it with a ratchet but can hit it with a box end.
Will the length of the bolt hit the pulley and do I have to remove it?
Any tips will be GREATLY appreciated because it is real cold out, I have a couple of bad disks in my back and the angle that I have to bend over to take this pump out could cause another disk to blow so I am trying to limit my time discovering how to do this.
Thanks for any help and tips!
