The ****in ass hole at the gas station put in regular instead of premium and I was wondering if it will do damage to my car. Also I feel like my car has lost some power because there is regular in there can that happen?

its not very godd gas for it, but it can run on it for a liitle bit, just stay out of WOT, just wait tilll you get to 3/4 tank and fill the 1/4 will 93 and that will help make the octane level rise, then wait till 3/4 tank again and refill with 93 til full, then after that you should be good to go.

yeah, and it could cause the engine to ping a little, but your should be fine, the fuel octane is just not high enough for the engine to run at its best.

In some states it's not an option about who pumps the fuel. Take a close look at octane boosters, most raise the octane only a point which is say from 87 to 87.1

When you say they put in regular, what octane is your regular? In crossing the country I found that some places call 85 regular. To me that's some sad dinosaur piss. Then there's other parts of the country that have 91 octane as their premium w/o anything higher available.

Yes, I like the northeast where 93 is standard premium and 94 is available at Sunoco
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah, I know. Kind of a peave of mine, I guess. I'd have a real problem with that, if I accidentally found myself needing fuel in one of those states.

As long as your not going WOT it'll be fine...just run it down...stay out of the gas...and fill 'er up with higher octane when you would normally fill up.

I will say go kick the guy in the throat that pumped it.
