Got my bluetooth OBDII module today. Just for reference, the time it took using EMS shipping (~$14) from China though DealExtreme is one week.
Without EMS (free shipping), the time is about 5 weeks in circulation, during which the post office uses it as a football, sets it on fire, then forgets it was actually mail that needed to be delivered. Every time I have ordered, I had to go yell at the Carol Stream post office. After dissapearing in the back for 30min as I'm waiting at the counter, someone different, invariably with cottage cheese on their shirt, eventually returns with a crumpled up crapwad that they call my package.
So EMS it is from now on.
Order Date: 9/24/2010
Mail Date: 10/09/10
Delivery date: 10/14/10

Not sure if this can be modded to monitor KR but either was this is a cool little package of 8 guages in one thats pretty cheap, 350 bucks, and me personally Id much rather have this over pillar mount I hate pillar mounted guages. ARK Designs Multi Function Dash.

I found this post on the torque forums about knock retard for GM vehicals. Maybe this will help?
How to get Knock Retard & Extended PIDs
And one would think that voltage would be an avaliable parameter? I would like to know if my batt is dead. The only way I have now to check is with a multimeter. I would like to know @ a glance. First time I had a dead batt, my alternator died and I didn't know it until my trans stopped shifting and the power steering went out mid trip.

I loaded the PIDs and created a graph for KR. It went to 9 and stayed there, never wavered. My timing advance maxed at 46. It ran between 13 and 26 crusing in the 25 -35 mpg range, the limit where I was driving. I tried punching the gas but KR never moved from 9. Opinions?
I'm interested if anyone has gotten KR to actually work. This would be great for me to suggest to folks that don't have scanners etc. ....if it works.
Well I just got my bluetooth Obd adapter gonna buy the full version of torque soon. But as of right now its saying I have 8psi of boost at WOT with my 3.4 setup so I must be flowing better than I thought![]()
OK, I downloaded the newest version. My boost now shows 10.2 and my KR shows zero.
temps affect boost... best gear to measure boost in is second.
You can safely go WOT in it (on the freeway) and it seems to be more consistent compared to first.
Innovate Motorsports OT-2 Phone wireless program. 179 Bucks = WIN!!!!
Not sure if this was covered.
Innovate Motorsports OT-2 - Transform your iPhone or iPod into a wireless gauge, data logger, dyno, efficiency meter and OBDII scan tool.
Can support wideband too.
Does that Innovate deal have KR though?
Downloaded the latest ap. Reapplied the PIDs. Recreated a gauge for KR. Still NOTHING! It says NO DATA!. Oh crap.
KR should vary with amount of pushing that you do ...if you have KR. Overall most guys will see a little blip or a touch of it at times. Even the best tuners will tell you they like to see a little .1 or something from time to time to know that the sensors are working.
A solid 9 or 0, makes me think it's not working.
I put an aeroforce gauge on and it seems to work good. It shows no KR as my Torque also shows no KR. It's all convinced me I have no KR.![]()
So hmm it should work then. I guess the true test would be to have someone who knows they have KR try it out with another scanner or gauge like a aeroforce.
