I know I have 4* of knock at WOT near redline with a Tech2 (GM's scantool). Ive never used a scangauge but a buddy at work has an older one he wants to bring in for me to play with.

I just bought a Bracketron window mount for my CLiQ2. Makes my distracted driving much safer.

I updated Torque today and re-added the PID's and took a drive on the Interstate. Torque now shows alot of data for several new PIDs like misfire count, evap and EGR data.

KR now reads 5.1* at WOT anywhere above 5k rpm. One time it did spike to 6.6* when I snapped the thottle shut from about 70% throttle. It felt pretty accurate and definatley a huge improvement.

It feels right but the formula could be a little off still. Its hard to tell without running a tech2 and torque side by side. I wonder if I could splice another DLC in the glovebox for my OBDlink. Any objections?

Any ideas on what I could check or verifiy to make sure were on the right track before I put headers on?

That's brilliant news! Sounds like the PID is now working and pulling valid data from the ECU!

The formula should be correct, though checking would be good - the main point is that KR now appears to be being pulled okay so a simple formula change (if it is indeed required) shouldn't be a problem

Thanks to you, and to ssjon, as well as others for sending debugging info and persevering whilst we get it working!

Seems to be working for me too. Got around .3 degrees at WOT with headers, CAI, and a few other small things on the stock pulley. So I guess that sounds about right. Hopefully someone can verify with another gauge. Let us know what you find, GTPZero.

Thanks again, Ian. You're awesome for working with us and coming up with a solution. Gonna head over to the market and give Torque a good rating. I'll be spreading this thing as much as I can.

I have a BB as well and was hoping the same thing.

Although, I was reading the Torque forums and he gave up due to a lot of problems with the BB conversion. (something like that, don't quote me on the problem, just the fact that
he does not have any more plans on trying to make a BB version of Torque)

Time to find a cheap android/bluetooth device to run Torque!

Drove the car around tonight and I have to say that KR definately works! It updates a hell of a lot faster than the Tech2 and seems to be more sensitive to little blips. Now I get to do my headers within the next month.

Thanks Ian for the great product.

I am running around .5-.75 degrees of KR, mostly due to my crappy tune. This is one of the best things since sliced bread.

Need some info on using the Torque with the BT interface. With My 2000 GTP I am not getting fuel pressure info as well as some of the other data I would think should be there. Any ideas on what data will not be presented on the OBDII torque? I have the app on a Verizon Thunderbolt (droid).

Our cars do not have a fuel pressure sensor. A bunch of the extra info will not show up due to no support from the PCM/vehicles avaliable sensors. With the latest revisions you should be able to pull up all the same data that a Tech II can.

Ians website is also a great source for info on Torque.

There's a list of adapters on Bluetooth Adapters - TorqueWiki make sure you read the notes about the ebay clones!

I would stay away from the cheap eBay ones. Get the good ones.

Hmmm... My cheap eBay one works just fine. Did for my 2000 GTP, does for my 2006 GT, my wife's 2006 Grand Caravan, my father-in-law's Jeep, etc...

Of course, I didn't buy the absolute cheapest one from eBay, but it was way cheaper than the other ones on the list.

Anyhow, different question. I am about to buy the full version. Does it have lock-up issues like the free one? I run the free one and it works great, but as soon as I go to exit, my phone locks up. I've never had that happen with any other app. Didn't used to do that a few months ago, but it has been lately. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue.

    Just wondering...

For the sake of having more choices to choose from, which ebay one did you buy? Maybe a link or a brand so I can find it online?
