Okay, I have an obnoxious problem.

Inside the cabin, whenever I slowly accelerate from a stop, I hear a percolating sound in the dash. It sounds like my car is taking a hit from a bong (I can't think of a better way to describe it).

I had the radiator replaced, upper and lower radiator hoses replaced and the entire coolant system flushed. The bleeder valve was opened to let the air escape and I believe it was "Burped," as we ran it and topped off the reservoir with coolant.

I'm PRAYING it's not the heater core. It's just the most obnoxious sound and it used to be pretty infrequent - now it's at almost every acceleration. My heat and a/c work fine.

Can anyone help me figure out what this could be?

    Thank you!

Here is the video I took of my car in park. Turn up your speakers to hear the bubbling sound.

well im pretty sure its just coolant flowing through you hearer core. probably got some air in it when you changed your radiator since thatll drain it of coolant. last car i had that had air in the heater core i just pulld the car up the steepest hill i could find and let it idle for a few minutes to let the air "rise" out of the system.

I think I'll try that. I don't even know where to go to find a hill!

How long should I sit and idle for? Should I do anything else? Rev the engine? I'm gonna take a video of the sound later today and post it to update this thread.

    Thanks!

You may just need to have it flushed on a machine Mine had air in the system when i did a at home flush

Flushed it at school with the machine and had much better results still had to bleed the air off but that only took 2 times

Here is the video of the sound I am hearing. As you can see/hear, it's now happening with every acceleration.

Turn up your speakers to hear it.

Can anyone tell me what's causing this? How do I get rid of it.

My heat and A/C work fine, but this sound is REALLY loud and obnoxious.

I have exactly the same problem. Tried the steep hill thing (lots of steep hills here in t he Rockies). I can't get rid of the gurgling.
