heres the info i can set the stage:
98 olds intrigue L36. iirc it has 3.29 gearings
my gtp has also 3.29s and its the L67

when i drove my mother's intrigue at normal speeds, for example at 35mph and let off the throttle, the RPMs drop to ~1000RPMs and steady until i apply more gas. when i drive my GTP at the same mph, and let off the throttle the RPMs hover around 1400-1500RPMs. anyone care to enlighten me on why? i believe the tc is already unlocked whenever the throttle's not applied. is it possibly tcc min apply? is it something in the PCM?

after discussing this with another buddy we think its the difference in the torque converter, which makes perfect sense lol.

There is also deceleration tables in the PCM that control idle and such during deceleration.

yea i was also thinking if the decel was any different. i have to look more in detail the differences of the l36 and l67 bin file sometime.
