Where does it go to?
Im no sure, it looks to go in the back of the engine compartment. I will get a better picture later
Thats definitely not stock, so someone added it or deleted it and just left it dangle.
Looks almost like a nitrous line or something...
that is a nitrous line. 100% sure. I would trace it through the car... you're more than likely going to find a place where the bttle used to be.

damn, that sucks bro, i'm praying for ya lol
Yea this could be the exact reason why this is the 3rd trans for this car. So basically I fcuked huh lol.
spray wont hurt the car unless it was used improperly....
it may very well be why that is the 3rd trans... but ti doent mean that trans in there wont last now....
the spray is off the car. If the car runs fine.... it will be fine.
do you have any problems with the car?
Well as of right now, the engine runs pretty good. It still boostes good & pull hard. I don't beat on it that much. I am getting 20MPG in the city & damn near 30MPG on the Highway. I had my oil change 2 times in the past 300 miles with full synthetic. The bad thing is I need a tune up & my oil smells a little like gas, but it's still clean (is this ok?).
& yea I know, I probably expect about 50k out this trans, then I may get it rebuilt or buy a TEP Trans![]()
I said that because I don't know wtf nitrous does to a engine. The guy basically lied about everything on the car. He said it was the original trans & it shifted good, but it went out in 2 weeks & it was replaced before. He said it was a bad o2 sensor, but it ended up that the cat was replaced with a big ass resonator & the o2 sensor was gone. So IDK wtf to do now. I am kinda pissed off I put more work into this car & I find more s**t f***ed up with it. Sorry for my language guys. So I really don't know if the 1st or 2nd owner of the car had nitrous on it. because I am the 4th owner. Oh & UR LOSIN We posted at the same time lol.
no, when the oil smells like gas that means you have a problem....
that means you have fuel blowing past the rings and mixing witht he oil. this can lead to bearing failure.....
common problem with over spraying a car is burning up the piston rings.
you are getting average fuel mileage in the city.... I normally got around 32 highway so your not far off there. I'd look into a backup motor... "just in case" you ever have a problem witht he current one. dont think of it as a bad motor.. I'd get a compression tester and test the compression on each cylinder. it will tell you if your rings are going. or bad.....
but I'd drive it and continue checking the smell of the oil.
Damn, Ok I am going to look into getting the oil changed (Again). The car was running without a ECT sensor for about 2 weeks & I just replaced it today. Could it be from the car running rich & like I said I do need a tune up.
yes it can be from the car running rich.... youd have to be EXTREMELY rich though... if your getting 20mpg in city... I wouldnt say its too rich to cause it to go past the rings...... but get it tuned and see how well it does after.
does the car smoke at all?
naw, it doesnt smoke at all out the tailpipes (except when its cold). The guy that replace my trans & LIM gaskets smoke tested it & he said the smoke was only coming from the LIM & VC gaskets.
although the engine does shake a little at idle. @ 97gtsc I didnt even have a chance to look where yet because it got dark & my mom car is in the garage. I will look tomorrow morning
