My '99 gtp will not rev past 2500rpms. It jerks, bucks, goes up and down during driving. There is no power. With very little throttle driving is okay. The car idles perfectly. When trying to rev the car the motor shakes and sounds like the supercharger is falling apart.

The car through a po300 code (multiple cylinders misfire).

The fuel presser is 42 at idle and goes up while accelerating. I switched the coil packs and ignition module and the car still runs the same.

    Any other ideas?

Might be a completely shot intake gasket or head gasket. How does your engine oil and coolant look? Did you just get it, or have had if for a while? I bought my GTP with a miss. Oil in the coolant. Bet a friend. He said intake gasket. I said head gasket. $500 bet FTW! lol

the car ran perfect the night before this happened. i shut the car off like i normally do and the next day this is what i woke up to.

i just changed the oil yesterday and it was fine. the coolant is fine and there is no oil in it.

i've had the car since april or may i think im not exactly sure it could've been june lol

new intake gaskets a month ago. car is not overheating so it cant be the head gaskets, no coolant in the oil and vise versa. i was told it could be a front main seal, oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket.

a car does not have to over heat in order for it to be a head gasket...some cars even run cool when it has a blown head gasket

but it runs perfect. just oil all underneath the car. ifit was a head gasket it be all under the hood on the motor.

oh car is still running strong and gr8, no issues but the oil leak. blown head gasket, it b running like crap, throwing misfires cause of bad compression.
