    I would let it sit for a little while with the engine off, start it back up and see what happens. Maybe the computer put a temporary limiter on it or something to that effect......I dont claim to be an expert or even close, but just a guess. How long were you on the gas? Were you on it steady the entire time? What do you mean the gas did nothing. Are there any other lights on or codes? Please add more detail

    I let it cool off and still the same, I can't remember how long I was on the gas pedal, and I press the pedal all the way sometimes, when I drove it I was pressing the gas pedal and got no power from engine when it's on I press gas pedal and no response. I also have check engine light that came on, sorry but I don't have a scanner.
    I still have the muffled sound, could it be that I stomp the catylitic converter?
