Problem: I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP that intermittently has an issue. While driving the engine shuts off. After shutting of an while coasting, I can put the transmission into neutral, turning the key engages the starter, but it will not start. Once you pull over, place the car into park, turn the ignition switch to the off position, then it will restart. This happens once or twice a week, but the car is typically only driven about 20 miles per week. My thought is some type of ignition problem, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm hoping someone else here knows the most likely culprit.
The car is completely stock...in case that question arises.
