my compressor took a dump and I didn't feel like putting a new one one, so I installed the ac delete. the kit came with spacers and bolts. I left the oem studs on the engine and just reused the nuts when I put the ac delete pulley and plate on. the instructions didn't say to remove the studs, so I just put the pulley on the studs and torqued it down with the reused nuts. was I supposed to remove the studs and use the spacers and bolts that came with the kit?

did the belt line up right and stay on?

bolts wont matter studs are the same thing, but that spacer your talking about.

the belt lined up and stayed on. I took it out on the highway and flogged the car a bit just to see if it would break, and it looks ok.

The spacers are for a different application if I recall.
From what I remember that AC delete kit model number that I used corresponds to several different engines not just the 3800

when I read the instructions, it said to use the hardware kit if it was included, so I stuck the spacers in the holes on the ac delete bracket, and when I tried to put it on the studs, the spacers were too small, so I just pulled them out and stuck it on there. now I'm second guessing myself.

I took a scan using the aeroforce gauge, so I was only logging boost and kr, and I had 2 blips of 0.1 and at the end right before I let off, and right before it would have shifted to 3rd gear I had 2 blips of 0.4 and 0.7. I plan on taking a scan tomorrow with the tuner and giving the car some abuse to see how it holds up.
