    I recently got my car straight piped. It's that an equate mod or should I have a cat and get the u bend delete

    Sounds like you don't even have a u-bend? Or else somebody went to a lot of trouble to keep it?

    Sounds like you should post a picture of the underside of the car.. So we can tell you what you actually have. If you have a downpipe then that would do away with the ubend unless for some odd reason that was kept.

    Looks like you have a straight pipe in lieu of the cat and u-bed. However, I'm still not sure what your original question is asking.

    Without a cat you may get a check engine light unless you have an O2 simulator or pcm tune. I have a deleted cat with a 3 inch downpipe. It sounds nice with the stock cat back and opened things up a bit. But the smell gets annoying in traffic.

    If what I have is as good as a u bend delete. Trying to reduce the kr fir a pulley swap

    U-bend delete = straight pipe.
