What are you blabbering about? You're just making yourself look silly...congrats you figured out it reads from the pcm now what about all the sh1t a real gaugecan do that is NOT monitored by the pcm? or how about having the ability to display wideband A/F? so that ummm a smart person could look at and say hmm the a/f is starting to lean out maybe i should take my foot out of the boost BEFORE knock occurs!
a real gaugeis to monitor health of the engine BEFORE something happens or it sets a damn code if you want to use a torque app to read a code congrats your just reading a fault thats already occured.
being proactive and monitoring the engine makes a hell of alot more sense than sitting with a damn app reading a code trying to figure out what to fix after its already happened.
app works fine for a daily driver great pretty little screen to look at. for a modded car dont be a cheap ass and use a real fvcking gauge. if you cant afford a gauge maybe a person should reconsider mods in the first place!
to me its kind of like driving a ****ing viper or something on 4 donuts.... would it work sure is there a better way to do sh1t absofvckinglutely!!!
disclaimer: NONE of the above is fact....... lolololololololol!
Like any SOFTWARE, the app's parameters or settings are made flexible so you can monitor what you want. So you need to tell it what you want to see on the display, or multiple display screens. And the author protects his income by disabling higher functions (installing PID's) unless you pay to play. But there is absolutely no disadvantage to using the Torque app and BT dongle -vs- any gauge. I've been trying to get my boost/vac gauge to reset codes (like torque) but having trouble, maybe you can tell me how the real gauge does that O.o
lmao...
But for the record, I have used torque and gauges side by side and it reads just the same. Not trusting torque app to read what the pcm is monitoring and seeing is a counterintuitive statement and ridiculous because we know what the pcm does. And your gauges or torque monitors things that happen and report it, you SEE it after the fact, what do you propose you think you can do when you SEE something in either? You going into the pcm with a gauge and changing timing? Fueling? Lmao... Please stop, my sides hurt from laughing...
And oh, Toque resets codes too, so it's obvious, you never used it, seen it or even researched it and yet you speak about it...
Theres an an old saying that seemingly is appropriate here:
its better to to remain quiet and appear stupid...
than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt!
ive said the same thing over and over, t app and even DHP scans show the same info.
sadly vets yet to scan with a tuner or the t app, so he has no real opinion on this matter and is just spewing diarrhea of the mouth all over.
same goes for his opinion on intercoolers, hes never even owned one, yet they suck? lol
hey dipsh1ts where have i said it doesnt work?
lol its an opinion why buy a wideband and use an app when an aero can do both?
same with interfailer junk where have i ever said they dont work you clowns only hear what you want.
sure they work fine for people that cant use e85.
just like me assploding flexplates and everyone laughs oh well same goes for when people have issues with intercoolers or can tunes or cellphone apps that dont work makes me laugh.....
its hilarious people cant determine whats an opinion and what they mistake for fact.....
gee yes i know aero and tq app accesses the same info and both can delete codes how many times do we need to cover that?

not working because user error guy dont mistake that for product failure.......
gee just like ic issues are 99% user fail not product fail.
you confirm my point you read what you want and make conclusions....
I love this forum.
It's like Christmas time with the family fighting but all year.

right lololololol half the time i dont know what gives me a worse headache you people or my inlaws!!! lol
I said the exact same thing in the other thread about torque.
And Tyler, every time a thread pops up about an intercooler or the torque app YOU are the only person who comes in there cock swinging saying that they are junk and people should not use them. You never list any real reasons that they are junk and shouldn't be used, other than "they suck". You have never used either and have no clue how they actually work. Again, until you actually use either of them and have any sort of issues with either of them then just keep your biased opinions to yourself and quit crapping on peoples threads with your negativity.
hey slick...................
i do not like zzp canned tunes, or cellphone scanning apps, or iphones, or interfailers, or the state of california, or the color purple or some clown named slick2500 that doesnt even own a wbody and drives a hoe.......
these are all opinions..... one day youll figure it out. lolololololol
whatchu gonna do?
if you dont agree with me thats ok you can have your own opinion but dont cry because i have mine.....
please tell me how does this app work again i forgot...... can it delete codes?
How did you add KR as a PID in Torque? There is a Knock Detector plugin for Torque Pro, downloadable from the Play Store.

Drive XR7
go To the bottom of the main screen for settings, go into settings and at the bottom hit manage extra PID's/ sensors then in the top right click there for the option Add predefined set and select Pontiac/GM/Opel/Vauxhall.
