like the other thread that apparently you missed does the torque app work WHEN properly setup yes however it cannot do a whole lot of sh1t a real gauge can. if you want to use a pretty little app to read a check engine light or code fine but i wouldnt trust my engine with it.

now let me be clear its an opinion.... nothing more dont everyone start to bawl i said todque apps are junk if you want to use them go ahead not my car no fvcks given but i can still laugh at you when you have issues......
congrats you figured out it reads from the pcm now what about all the sh1t a real gaugecan do that is NOT monitored by the pcm? or how about having the ability to display wideband A/F? so that ummm a smart person could look at and say hmm the a/f is starting to lean out maybe i should take my foot out of the boost BEFORE knock occurs!

a
real gaugeis to monitor health of the engine BEFORE something happens or it sets a damn code if you want to use a torque app to read a code congrats your just reading a fault thats already occured.

being proactive and monitoring the engine makes a hell of alot more sense than sitting with a damn app reading a code trying to figure out what to fix after its already happened.

app works fine for a daily driver great pretty little screen to look at. for a modded car dont be a cheap ass and use a real fvcking gauge. if you cant afford a gauge maybe a person should reconsider mods in the first place!

to me its kind of like driving a ****ing viper or something on 4 donuts.... would it work sure is there a better way to do sh1t absofvckinglutely!!!

disclaimer: NONE of the above is fact....... lolololololololol!

What are you blabbering about? You're just making yourself look silly...

Like any SOFTWARE, the app's parameters or settings are made flexible so you can monitor what you want. So you need to tell it what you want to see on the display, or multiple display screens. And the author protects his income by disabling higher functions (installing PID's) unless you pay to play. But there is absolutely no disadvantage to using the Torque app and BT dongle -vs- any gauge. I've been trying to get my boost/vac gauge to reset codes (like torque) but having trouble, maybe you can tell me how the real gauge does that O.o

lmao...

But for the record, I have used torque and gauges side by side and it reads just the same. Not trusting torque app to read what the pcm is monitoring and seeing is a counterintuitive statement and ridiculous because we know what the pcm does. And your gauges or torque monitors things that happen and report it, you SEE it after the fact, what do you propose you think you can do when you SEE something in either? You going into the pcm with a gauge and changing timing? Fueling? Lmao... Please stop, my sides hurt from laughing...

And oh, Toque resets codes too, so it's obvious, you never used it, seen it or even researched it and yet you speak about it...

Theres an an old saying that seemingly is appropriate here:

its better to to remain quiet and appear stupid...
than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt!
