I picked up my Dad's 2006 Grand Prix, which I drove to the gym. Been 5 months since I traded mine in but it was if I never stopped driving it. Drove it home and changed the oil and filter with an STP oil filter and Quaker State high mileage 5W-30, and a bottle of Gumout high mileage fuel system cleaner. I then patched the LR muffler until he can afford to replace both mufflers. I then proceeded to the matter of replacing a broken driver side mirror with one I got off eBay, then decided to give it a bath. Last but not least I cleaned all the windows, and used armor-all on the dash & other interior parts.
I was gonna say "wow, what a nice gesture, he must really love his dad!". Then you said armor-all.....![]()

^^I need to rip the dash off like that to run wires...someday. Mine is cracked in a few not noticable spots, but they will probably get worse. Probably a chance to swap over to a charcoal dash like yours. I did get the fender's rust taken care of and put on today:
More pics in my build thread, I still have to polish it up and such.
Yeah boy mine needs an interior cleaning now. Likewise on ride threads. Tempted to put my graphite seatS back in.... almost. I'm just trying to regain the dollar value I had before.

Did you use feness-it on that bumper yet? It would help cut crap on top ofthe paint. What I use is metal restorer then feness-it then go into the polish. The dash looks good
Drove the truck n trailer down to help iceyman move stuff. Saw a few dumb dumbs.
1st was a silveraydo hauling a tiny trailer doing like 75 then it started to sway back and forth super bad and bouncing. He quickly pulled off the road.
2nd was someone trying to pass me uphill and almost met his maker with the front of an 18 wheeler.
