Went to the muffler shop to get my muffler chopped off but they were closed. Now I'm off to do these brakes and a tune up. Didn't know these plugs were 12 bucks a piece
????? wtf plugs you buy? plats? if so turn around and return em asap. they suck in our cars.
Lol no for the g35. The prix is gone :(
Lls I do and that's insane. This car demolishes brake pads to make it even worse. Or is it me demolishing the pads lol
Caliper almost fell off. Now I need a new knuckle. Threads are gone.

Wowsers
threads are in the bracket most of the time. knuckle is just a bolt hole.
Russ, you needed a re-torque. And if you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all! :th_biggrin2:
Oh wait are they? I was so pissed i didnt check
Just realized how lucky i was, i found the wheel weights in the driveway. Looking for the bolt now
I am just trying various things as I go. I'm honestly not too concerned about sticking with one family of products either. I had the Turtle Wax stuff and got good results out of it before and I will use it til I use it up. After that I will look into other products.
My cousin's girlfriend asked me about buffing and waxing her Outlander and I will use the TW on it too, but I won't put near the time into hers as I did mine. LOL I'm only going to do polishing compound and a coat of wax.
No dice on the bolt my guess is that i lost it on my way to work and reversing into the garage made it show up. Oh god the clunk i had was awful. Now i need to get a bolt have have the one tire rebalanced, and I'm probably going to put loctite on them all. Kinda bummed about the wheel but its not that bad.

I have one word... Loctite.
According to the FSM you are supposed to replace those bolts anytime they are removed. Of course the only reason that is said is because GM wants money. If you do buy the OEM bolts they come with Loctite already on the threads. They are also something crazy like $18 per bolt....
All you need to do is put a dab of Loctite on the threads anytime you remove those particular bolts and they will not come back out unless you take them out with a ratchet yourself.
Yep, I'm going to go around all the wheels and do that. Blue loctite I assume? I heard what you mean by they want you to replace them. IIRC it was because of the loctite and something about it easier to tell someone to replace something then how to apply loctite to a bolt or thats what I'v read.
I think my tube of loctite is blue, but the liquid is red. I could be wrong though.
Two different strengths
I just torque them until my tendonitis pain is more than I can bear. Built in torque wrench :)
