Just keep lowering expectations, thats what I do. Rolled up 229K today myself. Time to mod! lol
Welding is badass, everybody go take a class so you can say you did. Thats today's inspirational message.
I figured out I can hang my tablet off the passenger visor for monitoring today. I saw 9.0 KR today. I saw LTFT at -20 at idle and 9 at WOT. Cruise looked Ok-ish. Hate self-noobism.
sounds like a factory tune lol aka sucks balls. mine was like that once upon a time lol
i welded a little today :th_thumb-up:
Just crossed the 3700 mile mark on my 5 speed swap today, still no issues. Overdue for an oil change right now tho.:p
not pipes. just diy hangers for the new dual exhaust, picked up some 3/8 th rod, bent to a J and welded them to the same area the factory bracket bolts to. with two new rubber hangers.
My first exhaust weld. Stainless muffler.

Also going to order tint for my 06. I'll have the rear window pre cut, and get 2 in case I mess up. And ordering rolls to cut and tint the doors myself. Doing 35%/10%
Rotated the dog bone bushings and installed Moog sway bar end links.....again. Used some locktite this time.
one of my bullitts developed a leak over the winter in the bead. so 4 new tires this morning. rides much better. ordered don rome brackets and gm strut braces earlier in the week.
Fixed some janky stuff on the Fiero the last few days. One of the alternator bolts was loose and the threads were stripped. Backed it out and found a bolt in my 4 coffee cans full of nuts and bolts from 3800's. Found one that worked, put a nut on the end and boom no more squealing belt when you start it. Also fixed the sticky throttle at idle. Someone tightened down the idler screw all the way so it made the Tb blade bind up. Fun stuff. Now for the JB weld on the exhaust manifold/gaskets :).
Tried to investigate if I have dragging brakes. The front rotors are twice as hot as the rear. I think its calipers because I bled the brakes a while ago and fluid seemed to move fine
Already bought another Prix, lol. Just about finished icing my hood and sanding, hoping my Dad has time next week to prime and paint my GT2 front clip.

Ordered a new downpipe this morning. Time to be rid of the old cat and U-bend to compliment the new cat back.
1st tank of gas with the new cat back this week: 350 miles 23.2 mpg. 90% highway @ 70-75 mph.
Catback isn't going to improve efficiency.
EDIT: Just for reference I got over 28 mpg with the same mix on a stock catback and I had 3 other people in the car and the trunk was loaded down with 4 days worth of clothes for all 4 of us as well as sleeping bags and pillows.
