Liz (girlfriend) was driving a little heavy getting onto the highway and the smell of rotten eggs got pretty potent. Looks like I'll need to put headers on sooner than later. Catalytic converter might be getting pretty plugged.

This left rear GTP brake rotor got so crusty inside that it squealed for the last 1,000 miles or two at low speeds. Since before I drove it to Kansas. I used a sheet of 100 grit 6" DA paper by hand to fix it. All quiet now. I've put over 30K on the car and the rear pads look good, this is the first time I touched them.

All sorts of fun codes on the GTP.
P0243, P0300, B1920, C0550, and in the history for cabin air/temp controls B0268, B0418, B0269, B0419 - maybe help me figure out why I have no AC? lol
On the GT2 just have a C0050 Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction, hopefully that's an easy fix.
Nice!
Still can't believe we got a $1600 scanner for $415, lol. Actually know what's going on with cars before buying 'em now.

got my don rome brackets last night. got the grumpy diesel back together and fired up saturday. think it needs more timing yet. sounds good at 4k though.
A 5 minute oil change turned into over an hour...
I was 200 miles over my oil change interval (due to crappy weather not letting me do it sooner) and I decided to take advantage of the sunshine after I got home from work. Jacked the car up, threw the pan under, drained the oil. Ran in to grab my keys because I left them on the table, unlocked the car go to pop hood and the release was really tight, and then it was not. The hood didn't relase.
So the oil is already drained out of the car and the hood won't release. I had no choice but to try to get it open now. I fought with it for a few minutes by myself then texted my cousin to come down and give me an extra brain and set of hands to try to get it figured out. Finally got it released and the odd thing was the cable wasn't broke and it was still in place.
I bolted everything back up and shut the hood after I was done, and it released like normal after that... I think the car knows I am intending to get rid of it.
Lesson is open the hood before draining the oil.

I usually do, but I didn't think I locked the car when I got home from work and just got ahead of myself
Cussed at the sunroof cover for a couple minutes dadgummit. Waited until nobody was around so I didn't look unduly insane.
Started it for the first time this year after a quick oil change (#2 so far on new engine)
Changed the fuel filter. Tomorrow.....
Nitto 555r on the front and cheap ass same size crap on the back!
was warm and sunny, no rain for at least a week, so i washed it.
came home to find my trunk strut lifts in the mail, installed them asap. nice to not get knocked out by the trunk no more.
Added another rear batt and added a bigger 4ch to get my highs in line with my lows.
