You should see the hood. My mom got behind some tanker that was misting something and this happened to her hood. Surprisingly the doors are rusting at the bottom and the passanger rear strut tower has some rust on the top of it lol

Alright cool thanks, TRT41 still works for me gladly. Only seems to be one choice for the 04+ being top post.
Threw in some brake clean and shop towels lol. Haven't been there in a while and I'm about out of both.
Oh man that sucks. Wonder if you can peel whatevers loose off, and polish it to make it look at least decent.
BTW I think never mentioned, I bought a HF DA polisher and the set of chemical guys pads.
Polisher is fun to use. I used mine on some headlights today. Was going to do moms car but long day and looked like rain all day
Yeah I've entered like a whole new field now of refinishing things. I did my headlights and was so impressed I'm doing everything that needs it lol.
Yeah we got a small shower around 3, but otherwise looked like it was going to rain most of the day and didn't. Kinda messed up my plans because who knows what the weather is gonna do.
I had to get a locksmith to break into mine. I had used my extra key to move the car when I was mowing. I just threw it back in the car while I finished. Then I got cleaned up and ran to my aunt's house because they had a window AC unit I was picking up for my mom. I carried it back out to my car and my aunt was trying to pop my trunk with the button on the door and wasn't doing it right, so she grabbed the keys out, handed them to me, I popped the trunk, put the AC in there and apparently my aunt put my keys back in my ignition not knowing she had locked my doors in the process of trying to pop my trunk.
So my regular keys and my extra key were both locked in the car. My uncle and I tried getting in ourselves, but we didn't have a strong enough rod to get the push the switch. We scuffed the paint a little along the edge of the door jam, but I'll touch it up, and it will give me an excuse to scuff the roof drip rail things and paint them too since they are faded.
New headlights. 50 bucks a pair on eBay. Includes a bulb.
Not worth trying to clean up the old ones.

Just put on all new shocks and mounts, one wheel hub, water pump, trans cooler lines, fixed the headliner around the sunroof, replaced mufflers, and fixed the clunk in the steering wheel when turning over bumps by spraying CRC white lithium into the knuckle. Getting it back into shape slowly but surely.
New 180 deg thermostat today.

Working on on the LeSabre... Got the pulleys swapped out. Still need to run vacuum lines, spark plugs, weld the exhaust, and it should be good to go.
Very nice.
Odometer flush. The instant I touched the camera a cop whipped in behind me and was closing fast. On a deserted road. So this was the best I could do despite planning.

I went to clean up the exhaust tips tonight and found out they come off. That makes it easier.
What doesn't make it easier is that there's a few items gone from the garage. Odd sh!t too. Musta been kids. Whoever it was took a dremel and cheap, worn impact wrench. My rods and reels are right next to it with two full tackle boxes. Tiny hands get full.
Finally changed the oil. The rain let up just in time. Poured as soon as I finished
