35 sides is what I like. Looks perfect, now come do mine!
Doing heater core swap on the GTP right now... using the 02's and the hoses / brkt too. Maybe also that vacuum reservoir (long triangular) thats by the core. New alum elbows and switch to green coolant as well. Not a whole bunch of sludge present, but some stop leak is evident. I don't have cooling problems just barely leaking elbow and core. Man those heater hose clamps can be a pain! Better than an old A-body with wheelwell in the way though.
Thanks. It's fun when things go well. Really frustrating when it doesn't lol. Not sure if I'd like to tint other peoples, I'd rather mess up my own stuff than other peoples.
Its installed and I didn't put a scratch on it. I'm amazed at how good it looks, my friend had his professionally done and I can say mine looks the same. Now I'm gonna see how the rear ones are bubbled and want to re do them lol. Here's what the rears have in spots
None of that on the fronts.
Originally it was a kit, and I installed them how you're supposed to. The fronts had creases and looked bad, so I bought a roll (and went darker) and cut out my own front tint on the bench. The precut has more gaps than it should, that's what I don't like about the kits.
I used the heat gun to shrink it like you should, and to correct a few little bubbles and tiny fingers that kept popping up once it was applied. I shrunk the tint kit too, but it was harder to correct fingers when the seals are in the way.
I got the windows out in 5 minutes tops, so why not? Lol
my doors came from a roll. they purpled some. the back and brow came from a pre cut order, still black. thinking of getting the new tint from the pre cut on ebay due to the purple factor.
maybe they would sell just the 4 doors un cut? lol
4 doors uncut? Yeah that's just a roll lol. I ordered the roll from the same guy who sells the pre cut so it would match. Had to pm him for that though.
A 24" by 10' roll is good for side windows. Maybe 12' to be safe since you will need overlap. That cost me $9.97 plus $6.90 shipping. You can get almost any available tint shade.
I got the roll which ended up being 26" tall, and I'm assuming 10'+ feet of length. Can't really measure it without hurting it rolling it back up. The back window will need a taller roll for sure, but precut is good for that.
The guys eBay name is "tint-pro"
Here are the shades

Call me lazy but I rather just paid the $120 to have someone tint it lol

tint is to easy to not do yourself. ive done mine once already. windows out and tinted should be cake. cause it the window frame that messes you up.
so ill pocket the 100 bucks and invest my time. ( put that towards the ic fund.)
Scotty going IC! Nice. Tints one of those things that I have zero desire to attempt myself. 90+ outside most days rather just pay the $120 and not have to deal with the problem of getting it bubble and streak free.

If a pro tint job cost $120 here, id be crazy to do it myself lol. More like double that
No thank you lol way to damn hot for all that. I did strip it myself though just to avoid paying for that in addition
