Let the gp sit. Insurance is up in 4 weeks on my g6, was 930$ for 6 months with 1000$ deducitble with progressive.

Another insurance company quoted me 61.30$ a month for liability, it was always 115-130$ a month until now..

Any ideas? 21 and its on a 2008 g6 coupe. This oct will be 4 years after I got my license, and no tickets/accidents. I thought I was stuck with high rates for years.

look up what your rate would be if you lived in NJ lol like 5 grand a year.

you maybe paying more then the rest of your area, but id take those rate all day long lol i pay about 1200 a year for liability. kids, males get it worse then females too 17-24 get raped hard and dry lol

Yeah im not sure, but ill take it for 360$ for 6 months, told him when I want it to start and when he wants me to pay in full

Guess with the lowered rates Ill have to use the other money for a windshield in the gp..

There are too many factors in insurance for anyone to give you any good ideas. Factors that affect insurance rates are anything from driving record, where you live, where you park at night, if you park in a garage, etc.

To give you an idea on how much insurance can be affected I currently pay $72 a month for full coverage with $250 deductible on the Grand Prix. If I moved 5 minutes south to West Virginia my rates would be closer to $100 a month for the same coverage.

i was paying 3 grand for full coverage on my 03 gmc, 500 deductible. and was told flat out my rate is so high because i live right next to major highways all over. and a over populated area with crime lol

I know one of my friends was paying something like $3600 a year for his 3000GT VR4 for LIABILITY, when he lived in the Bronx.

my friends nephew was 5 grand. and he had car payments, like what 18 year old kid can pull off two car payments a month? what it comes down to.

Well last week I got the motor/trans back in. Started it. Then the brake line blew. Ffff (the one that goes over the tunnel to the passenger side).

Put the exhaust back on it last Sunday. Then the window wouldn't go up (drivers front).. regulator shot. Replaced that. Couldn't find why there was a grinding noise on the drivers side brake. Dust shield was bent touching the rotor.

Then the other day I go to start the car after replacing the front man seal (again) and it sounds like a freakin' dolphin when I started the car. Starter is going out

Then I can't get the exhaust to stop leaking at the bottom of the header (with the v-band clamp). Replaced the clamp. still leaking. I'll screw with that later. This weekend the exhaust is getting re-done. 2 - 2 1/2" magnaflow resonators back to back dumped out the rear passenger door. Should be fun.

Debated selling it. The trans barely moves it, the recently put in refurb power steering pump is noisy, the HUD spring went, needs paint on the front bumper and has a dent in the rear. I think it may be time to replace it with a NA Miata.

Well, like I said I put it in the car show Saturday for the fun of it. There is a photographer that takes a pic of every car as it pulls in and they give the photo in a little "folder" to all the participants.

I wish I could have gotten the actual file sent to me because it is a decent pic, but I understand why they wont do that.

I scanned the photo and uploaded it, so the quality here isn't great, but it is what it is.

Picked up my 97 from the alignment shop today. I hope the new struts settle in. It looks to high.
Rides real nice and firm seems like it just wants to take off instead of squat and then take off.
My coworkers were impressed with my work over the weekend. I am going to enter my first show this weekend.
That is if i can get it detailed by Friday.

Damn it I thought I was done with it lol. Its still getting new hood and side skirt and touched up all over. And speak of the devil my check engine just came on. She's driving. Cat bank one failure what is that?

It only happens on really humid days which isn't often thank god cause it's very dry in nw kansas

Ran on 5 cylinders off and on for 10k miles
