    I just found it weird that the 1-5/8 core is the right one, but I guess it is.

    Aluminum. Same core pictured in the last post of the previous page. It gets dirty etc and doesn't seal as good as good old paper and rtv. It's easy to tighten bolts and have it bunch etc. I like to torque the SC down to it's ~17ft lbs
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Should be the same core for both. only difference is the opening of the ic is bigger on gen v.
