I have a 02 2 door gt with 90k miles all michigan driving until recently. I have tried to look up my issues before posting but im not coming to my answers anywhere. I have a bad front end viberations tires are good and balanced. I also am getting a loud clunk when i turn hard and now ive also noticed my front drivers side tire is almost slick on the inside like its got a bad castor. I have notice the back drives toes out at the bottom way more than any other tire but that rubber seems fine. Not sure what to start looking into im a cherokee (straight axle) guy so have almost no idea about what to loom for with IFS any and all help will be great i can fix it and find out if its bad if i know what to look for. I just feel like im chasing my tail right now

Loose tie rod ends or lower ball joints will cause tire wear on the inside edge.

I would shake down the front end and see if there is any movment at 9 and 3 on the tire.

Yes, you want to raise the front tires off the ground. Just jack it up in the middle of the subframe that runs across the front, both wheels will come off the ground, keep the key in the ignition so the steering wheel doesnt lock.

lca's were my clunk over bumps, bad ball joints, strut mounts can also clunk.

in the end replacing all the front end parts is not a long list,

lac's, 100 for the pair or less bought on line.

tie rods ends 40 to 60 depending on brand.

strut mounts are like 30 a side iirc. i took my struts out, dropped them off at a front end shop to swap the mounts, if you dont have air tools, your not changing them at home. ( they charged me like 30 bucks to swap em)

if you change the lca's buy new sway bar end links 99% of the time the bolt snaps, or strips and you cut it off. they run like 10 bucks for the pair.

once all this or any of these parts are changed you'll need to hit the alignment show asap. that should fix the back end up.

and if you can get a new set of tires on the car its best to get it aligned with good tires. even if you borrow a set from another car, aka temp tire and wheel swap.

could be possible there are several different issues. when i read your vibration issues at 45 mph and the clunk when you turn hard i thought it could be a bad cv joint. that wouldn't account for the tire wear so that could be bad alignment, bad control arms, bad hub, bad tie rods (could be the clunk as well), even the steering rack can clunk if its bad. all those things can cause bad alignment or the car not being able to hold an alignment which will eat the tires up.
