hmmmm so maybe my idea of working on my car at the lot by the tennis courts wasn't as far fetched as I thought.

thats how it was at my friends house, rock driveway, so a spill or leak was no big deal, i used to work on a sheet of ply wood to keep from loosing stuff in the rocks.

now hes got a paver driveway, so im still working on a sheet of ply wood to protect the driveway.

i just want my lift so i can drop my sub frame with out much issue. at that time I may rebuild my tranny and do a few mods to the engine. not saying i cant do them in the car but its much easier when its all out.

you can drop a sub frame with the car on the ground. thats how you take the tranny out.

Fixed that for ya Scott. In theory it's easier on a lift. Although I've done the ground method so much...I'm slower with a lift.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

That's a pretty easy way to do it, Ive used fork lifts 2 post lifts and the engine brace method also. To be honest I like forklift best lol can more front back side to side with out moving the car.........
