Got a 1997 Grand Prix GT with 139,000 miles. Interior lights do not work (map, courtesy/floor, rear overhead toggle lights, under-hood lamp, door panel lights). Cigarette lighter/12v accessory power outlets DO function (one overhead, passenger kick panel, center console). Gauges, cluster, radio, and HUD function as normal. No blown fuses in the underhood block or in the passenger compartment fuse block. Only noticeable issue is HVAC blower works on speeds 1-4 and does NOT work on speed 5. Checked and replaced blower motor resistor (not the problem). Also, when ignition is "ON" or Retained Accessory Power is active (before opening the door after an ignition cycle) there are two relays behind the glove compartment one of which is making an audible 'click' during normal driving or RAP. STUMPED! can anyone provide some input as to what's next?

OK, replaced 'HVAC HI' 30Amp fuse and now blower works on 5 and all other speeds. Overlooked it during troubleshooting earlier. Still no interior illumination lights.

On to doing the 'BONG' test on the MALL module. I think that would be the next appropriate step from here. Is my thinking logical on this? I also suspect it could be an ignition switch, based on what i've read online...Problem is, as far as I can tell the problem exists solely with the interior lights. Everything else functions as advertised...
Back to work until 6:30, then coming home to have another look at it.
