Thanks everyone for advise
I am always happy to give my opinion. High mileage does not scare me. I can't think of the last time and engine needed a rebuild because it was "worn". But...maint is important. No service hisotry pass on the car. Make sure had regular oil changes. The suspension seems to always be the thing that is the problem on high mileage cars. Struts and bearings and bushings wear over time and can be expensive to replace. Also rust. Make sure car is rust free.
Make sure you know what the car needs prior to purchase. Take it to a mechanic and have them test everything. Then subtract that amount from the purchase price. If the seller won't do that, then you can add it to the purchase price and see if you could get a newer, lower mileage GP.
