better question is have you looked under a newer car dash? there is still tons of empty space

i do see a feather in your dash soo you may need to stat looking

The ABS light is coming on more frequently, conclusion is the wheel bearing isn't making noise so I'm in no hurry to fix it. Might pickup a scantool that can read ABS codes but aren't they expensive.

How big are our gas tanks really? Few places on google say 18 and I just don't believe it.

17.5 I know because I have the DIC as a gas gauge cuz the other is brokeded

russ thats an easy fix you need to re-install the float it fell out. take a 10 mm and go into the trunk and remove the inspection plate then get the pump out then reattach the float

It didn't fall off its just bad, it goes to E I shake the car and back to full it goes. Been like that from when I bought the car, I have trust issues with it now so if its working i wont trust it.

$20, 30 minutes, and it works again.

Retrofitted the crapiece and charged it and now the ac is blowing super cold

had a car with ac that blew so cold that you need a winter jacket if you ran it to long lol

Is that a PnP sending unit, I know some you have to cut stuff up or is that when you buy a whole new unit, canister, pump ect.

Must be true that chevys always have ice cold AC, I know mine after the interior of the car cools down because black on black it stays frosty on the hottest of days.

No cutting, and it's a variable resistor. You remove the unit, un clip the float sender and two wires, swap senders/floats and reinstall.



See the sender that's white unlike the yellowed unit? That unclips and there are connectors at the other end.

knock on wood, i got my regal with working a/c and its not given me one problem in 4 years. black car, ice cold air, need to turn it down and crack a window.

Those trucks sure did have icy cold air!

I haven't done crap to the GTP this week. Just got it muddy though. Its bein a sweet ride thats all.

I'll probably do that when I do my plugs and wires, and fuel filter assuming it comes off.
