I use a waterblade aka a squeegee. If the finish is smooth enough it will be perfectly dry with one swipe, then I take a big microfiber drying towel and get the edges and panels.

Also I washed my car in the sun once, big mistake. It drys in seconds, it's crazy. I had to wash one panel at a time. I just wait til evenings once the sun just sets and my car is in the shade is a good time, since I take an hour and the sun goes down once I'm finally done. And there's no shade anywhere when it's sunny around my house.

I have a water blade, I like it. It gets rid of a lot of water and finish drying is easy.

Had this shift boot laying around since I was a kid, bought it for a Mazda MX6 GT and never installed it. Next... learning how to re-wrap gearshift knobs.

we can all take our micro rags and shammys and toss them, my brother uses a hot air blower made for drying cars, has a safe rubber tip on it. blows the water right off. its a bit anal take longer, but its dry and spot less.

also you'll never get swirl marks with this blower. its no touch.

    K..so the D2S 3.0s are the chit.

Should have listened to RED about driving em first. I had them bolted in on the top but i was afraid they would have bounced.
I should have tightened them flush and drove to get an idea of the beam height.
I set them at roughly 25ft, sealed them b!tches up and everything else was smooth except for the stripped ground bolt that Oreillys let me purchase.

The beams were perfect side to side but way fkn low.I could see the cut-off on the road not to far out. My heart sank and bummedmethefckout.
Soooo got some of these from work

Used the one on the right which is almost twice as thick. I put it between the headlight and the bottom pin. I also chiseled out the plastic nub on the plastic frame for the top one.
Tapped it down slowly with a hammer.
This elevated the beam to damn near perfect and didnt seriously mess with the cutoff.
So there is a way to fix the elevation.
The difference was short of phenomenal

Something else you can do to to fix minor rotation is drill the hole on the reflector a bit larger then the actual bolt then use a nut behind it. That way if your rotation is off slightly you simple loosen the nut and then get it where you want and tighten it back then go crazy with JB weld.

Thats exactly what I did but skipped the drive, acted like a kid and got impatient and all confident.
Should have measured twice and cut once.
I am just relieved it worked out.

Just be glad you don't go through gas like I do in the work truck. Put $115 in it Monday morning, put $113 in it today. I'll probably go through that by the end of the week.
