a whole lot of guys said its sealed for a few years so far. its gonna get changed, this just lets me put it off for a while. like to drive to a part out for said new/used radiator. then if it gets to cold it can wait longer.
Washed it since it's finally above freezing. (It's been over a month) Also waxed the headlights and tails as I always do almost every wash. Good to wash the salt off, I sprayed what I could of the underbody too. My car doesn't seem to clean up very well like it did in the summer for some reason. I really need to clean the inside windows, I've been using rubbing alcohol to clean windows for years and it's always worked really well, but recently the new bottles they come in also seem to b a different product. It's no longer streak free, they must be putting other things in it (that don't evaporate) so now I have to find a new favorite glass cleaner. Anybody have any preferences? I know of windex and dirtex.
I use vinegar and newspaper to clean my windows and I wouldn't do it any other way.
You could come and see me. I have skids of it in my warehouse.
But to save you a long drive, Surf City is based on California; I'm sure lots of places across the US carry the brand..... http://www.surfcitygarage.com/locator
walmart or Oriellys for Invisible Glass.
cheap and effective
Drove up to Intense and had a 3.5 pulley installed. It really screams now. And pulls better.
Another thing, I FINALLY decided to aim my headlights. The left was pointing all the way in the center and far down, the right was just up too high. So I leveled them to about here. They're level to each other but I have no idea where exactly they should be. How's this look?

Drove it for the first time in a month. My beater took a dump on me. Here's the damage...

Apparently the shift tower bolt snapped, hit a gear and blew a hole in the trans case. Ah well I only paid $600 for the car 5 months ago...

Pep boys carries their products. If not detailing.com also carries surf city.
Invisible glass is good as well. I use that as well. I just tried meguiar's perfect clarity and that worked nicely as well.
That looks good.
I cleaned up the bullits around the outside of the rims where they had a little curb rash. I also noticed 2 of them are welded up. They still hold air fine so I'm guessing it was a professional fix. I'm dropping them off to get new tires put on tomorrow. 235/50/17's sound good to me.
