if you had issues on cold like no forward then slips into gear that would be pcs symptom what ylshif kit did you install? Hard medium soft? And tune is by far no bandaid in your case. All you need is a tuner to quicken shift times as well as other various tables. If your trans was slipping and you bumped up line pressure via pcm then that's a bandaid

I installed a transgo. No slipping, just the shifts got really long as the trans got hotter. Long enough to set max adapt. The shift kit stopped them from getting too slow, but they still are quite different from hot to cold.

I plotted how and where I was going to set it on fire if replacing the intake manifold doesn't fix it's issues.

It may do it on it's own, just don't change the valve cover gaskets or change the fuel pressure regulator.

In the process of taking off the mufflers. I decided to take a break and see what it sounded like. I have new flowmaster 40s comming in shortly. Driving around with no mufflers will be cool for a little while.

    Spent some time caressing her....

    Removed some tar

    Before:

    After:

I don't know why it looks yellow. It doesn't in person.

I needed to scrub a lot more but I couldn't wash the car with well water, so I worked with a bunch of old nasty rags.
I also waxed the spots I cleaned up as the tar remover seems pretty harsh.

I also threw a couple coats of wax on spoiler.

Car needs clay barred really bad again. But really, not to shabby for being 14 years old.

Took her to the gratiot cruise today, my old buddy's gonna do some welding for me before he heads back to school. Gonna get a magnaflow 30 inch glasspack since me has no resonator n I'd like the exhaust a little more quiet. Also getting a few feet of 2.5 piping n gonna see if he can custom the stock 2.25 y pipe into something bigger with it. Also going to weld in my wideband bung. I got my new o2 sensor n just ordered an extension from zzp for it too.
