UPS brought the fuel pump for my lightning as the cop was putting me in the back seat. Guess that's the last thing auto I'll buy until the lawyers paid off. Good news is he says he can make the charges go away.

And the Chrome polish is good i've tried it before. Show me the stuff =p. I really need a polisher but i can't afford to do it. I possibly need new axles and i need a new front sway bar

They are DOT approved, so thereby street legal. I will tell you, they aren't any fun driving thru so much as sprinkler water on the road, so you can imagine what a rainstorm would mean.

Put the car on the lift at work, did an oil change and a good inspection.

Mounts look good, can't figure out where the clunk is, but will probably replace with solids just to on the safe side.

Outer tie rod booties are busted... dammit. Add to the list.

Got stopped this morning because cop said I was crossing lanes and a license plate light was out. Wasted 10 minutes on the side of the road, then finished delivering newspapers.
Picked up brakes and a washer pump that I'll install this weekend, and found a bulb in the glove box.

I'm sure you have, but have you ever seen the video of the guy who was pulled over by a cop for running "street slicks?" I'm thinking it was a tan Camaro.

His tires were just like yours, DOT legal and all, and he tried telling the cop that they were legal, but the cop basically said, "I don't care what the tire says, I say they are illegal because they are bald." or something to that extent. His buddy videoed the whole thing with his phone, videoed the number on top of the cop car and all. Once the cop finally left he walked right up to the tire and showed the DOT markings to the camera.

I think they even had an update at the end saying he fought the ticket and won because of the video.

Yeah, I've seen it. But truth told, this car sees less than 1% street duty, and I try really hard to be cool in it, since it does attract so much attention. Besides, these are new, for now- They have plenty of tread.
    Mounted the new rears today.
