I miss my stick shifts...my wife can't drive one, so it's hard for me to justify having one...especially since last time I had a stick shift, I tore a tendon in my right arm and couldn't drive it...and she couldn't either...lol

I wish I still drove stick. It's what I learned to drive on and what I spent the first 5 years driving. If only the prix was stick.

After about a week being lowered it dropped about 1/2 and inch. Loving the look of it though

Removed door ding molding and molded bumper to quarter panel, how does it look?

I think it's a lot cleaner without the bumper molding, I like it

connecting the metal quarter panel to plastic bumper could cause you nothing but headaches down the road.
i would assume (no expert here) but since they are different materials they would have different expansion and contraction rates. this could cause your seam to one day break apart for no good reason but a hot/cold day.

door ding guards are a easy fix with right stuff - pop em off, weld holes shut, sand, sand, bondo, sand, prime, sand, paint, sand, clear, sand, polish... and maybe one more sand? but not impossible and has been done before.

I feel like it would have to be a rubber like material to connect the two but I honestly can't think what to use, the only that might work is a fiberglass like what is used on motor homes. That stuff has a lot of flex but not much expanding and contracting in weather changes/ temperature changes so I think it could make for a good material to use. I just love the way it looks so i'd love to see it done

    possibly this stuff would work:
    http://www.ashland.com/products/plio...ural-adhesives

its a urethane structural adhesive. works really flipping good, has a wee bit of flex could work.. i know some guys have used this stuff for their bumpers to permanently attach a plate filler and mould it in without excessive bondo etc. i used the stuff once to attach new rocker covers to my old 99 LoL

Thanks, this stuff sounds like it could definitely work. I might have to do a little research on it and maybe some other materials and see what I can come up with.
