I'd expect it to be wiring related, do you have a scan tool so you can see the requested gear by any chance?

Only thing I have is DHP. When I'm scanning it it says 1st gear. then goes to 2 but there's no shift. I can pop off the shift linkage and put it in 1st and i have 1st.. but that's it.
A friend and I did the wiring. I've gone through all the pins in the PCM, have power to E on the round connector, etc. Just had the solenoids changed too.
Welp. to bump this old ass thread back up.
I fixed the trans issue. Come to find out it was the physical PCM. I had the one from the buick in there (and it took the GTP bin file flash fine). I swapped a different service number in there (xxxxxx757) and poof. Trans saw first gear.
Been driving it daily for about 3 weeks now to work and back. It's pretty fun to drive. Kinda loud but I just installed a Magnaflow muffler and it sounds a little better. Just waiting for the tips to come in.

You need to update your sig. You found it.
Congrats!
Put the turd on the dyno yesterday. Wasn't planning on it but for $50 for 3 pulls why not. There were 15+ other cars that dyno'd so it was get on, strap it down, run twice, cool for a few minutes, run one more.
First pass I was expecting it to be pretty rich. 9.8:1 af. Woops. Well, better than lean. Then he ran again real quick. Injector Pulse Widths were 20+. About maxed.
So I leaned it out 5% and also noticed I was only getting 11 degrees of timing (no KR). So I added 4 degrees. 3rd pass it leaned out to 11.5-12ish and my timing was at 15.5. 7-8 PSI on the 3.4 pulley. IPW's went down to 17 after I leaned it out. I think I can get away with a 3.2 pulley and bump the timing up a degree or two and that may put me around 300 WHP. Local track day (rented out) is May 12th. Should be fun.
