Not a for sale post, just need help with realistic asking price for my 01 GTP. I know its not worth that much but want to be fair to myself as well as potential buyer. (If I can sell it at all) It's stock, one owner (me!), 153,630 mi. Mechanically sound engine and transmission AFAIK. Runs very well, shifts fine. Leather interior in pretty good shape, sunroof works, no leaks. Has body damage to front and rear. I'm in Missouri so yeah, pretty ate up with rust. (See photos of damage and rust)

    Known issues:
    suspension (struts)
    DIC not working at all
Fuel gauge not working, told needs float
Coolant level sensor was on but level fine, unplugged it, needs replaced
Could sure use new tail lights. They work but...
Everything else as it should be to best of my knowledge.

Have done a few of the usual things along the way-replaced O2 sensor, MAF sensor,S Chgr tensioner pulley and belt, new Serpentine belt, some hoses etc, replaced wheel bearings, intake manifold gasket for fire recall. Has decent tires and brakes (probably 50% or better on both), Just replaced headlights, just passed MO state inspection.

So, has issues and not too pretty anymore, but I think it could go quite a bit longer for someone that just needs a car. Till body falls apart completely. Any input or opinions appreciated. TIA

Honestly? I wouldn't buy it lol but it's age, current issues, and potential issues, I would appraise it, at most, $1000.

It would be a good starter car for a high school kid or someone going through a horrible divorce.

Thanks! I appreciate your honest opinion. And yeah, i wouldnt buy it either 😆 Only reason i still have it is my weird "emotional attachment". I loved that car when it was new! Have had a different one for a while now.

Start at $1600.00 so you have room to negotiate and the buyer thinks the got a deal when you settle for $1200!

What part of MO are you in? I'm somewhat interested. Are the rear strut towers ok? Just the rust underneath?

That interior is nearly immaculate though...

I would say if you can find a JY with some unmolested 97-03 bumpers and replace the tail lights, you could easily list it at $2k.

    $1500-2000. Probably closer to $1500.

800-1000, private sale, assuming it runs and drives.

Wouldn't expect much more than 500-800 on trade.
